Achsha (pronounced Ah-sha) Jones is a lifelong Detroiter and Entrepreneur with more than a decade of experience across several industries including food, transportation, logistics and hospitality. A master networker and communicator, Achsha has sold more than $5M in products and services spanning 10 years for Fortune 100 companies and several Detroit-based startups. Having built a successful career in B2B sales, Achsha has given talks on the importance of leveraging your network and how to be confident when presenting your ideas, product or service.

During the last decade, Achsha has built a successful career as an Entrepreneur as Founder of Lunch Brake, a retail and marketing platform for food based businesses in Detroit and Brake Time Tours & Transportation. A graduate of ProsperUs Detroit and pitch competition winner, Achsha is also a Motor City Match awardee, a 5x NE Ideas finalist, a gBeta Alumni and multi-year participant in The University of Michigan’s Detroit Neighborhood Entrepreneur Project. 

Achsha has a commercial drivers’ license with more than one million commercial miles logged. Her vast knowledge of the city of Detroit inspired her to get her real estate license to further her current property investment projects. In 2020, Achsha penned her inaugural book; BreakUp Without Smearing Your MakeUp; A Woman’s Guide to D.I.V.O.R.C.E. & Dealing With Baby Daddies Without Losing Your Dignity. 

Achsha is active in her community as Board Chair for Girls Rock Detroit and Ambassador for The Marygrove Conservancy where her businesses are housed. Her favorite authors are J. California Cooper, Wally Lamb & Tim LaHaye, her favorite singer is Anita Baker. A mom of two girls, Achsha lives on the Far West Side of Detroit.
