Adam Podowitz-Thomas
Selections Co-Chair, NLC Philadelphia

Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia by way of Charlotte, North Carolina and Oakland, California, Adam is a committed advocate for LGBTQ+ families. Adam has held many legal roles, including at the US Department of Education's Office for Civil Rights, at the University of North Carolina, as a law clerk for a federal appellate judge and for a federal bankruptcy judge, and with the Human Rights Campaign. Adam is a graduate of the University of Georgia and Stanford Law School. He's an alum of the 2019 New Leaders Council - Philadelphia cohort and is proud to serve as Selections Co-Chair for the chapter's board.
