Donor Stewardship Coordinator, Advocate Aurora Health
Ala Ismail is a Milwaukee native and a proud first-generation college graduate from Marquette University. Upon graduation, Ala found her passion for nonprofit work through her local community. Looking to further her career in nonprofit and healthcare, Ala joined Advocate Aurora Health. In her role, one of her main responsibilities is to coordinate Advocate Aurora Health Foundation’s donor stewardship efforts and educate donors on the impact of their contributions to the community through increased awareness of benefits and activities. Outside of work, Ala is an active member of the Islamic Society of Milwaukee, where she served on the Executive Committee for three years, the Wisconsin Muslim Civic Alliance and other community organizing and service initiatives. As the daughter of Palestinian immigrants, Ala has always been committed to serving the community. Her long-term goals include earning a master's degree and continuing a career in nonprofit/healthcare.
