Awnya Creque

Awnya Creque is an investigations, disputes and risk consultant with AlixPartners, where she provides digital forensic services to clients across the country, which includes the federal government. She previously served in an investigator role with State Farm, investigating medical fraud. Awnya has previously worked as a law enforcement relations officer for T-Mobile and specialized in forensics, and GPS mapping. In addition, she , served as a Metro Transit Police officer in Washington, DC, where she worked on a juvenile gang task force, and earned two leadership awards during her tenure. Awnya is a member of the Dallas Democrats organization, serves as a youth advisor to the Sigma Gamma Rho, Sorority Incorporated Rhoer Club, serves as a Parks Board member of the city of Cedar Hill. She is a 2009 graduate of the University of Maryland-College Park Behavioral and Social Science department, and a 2011 graduate of Norfolk State University’s graduate school. During her studies at Maryland, she helped plan the youth inaugural ball for former President Obama and hopes to do the same for President-Elect Joe Biden. Awnya is happily married to Sean and they live in Cedar Hill, TX. Her favorite book is entitled, The Memo-What Women of Color Need to Know to Secure a Seat at the Table, by Minda Harts.
