Benjamin Jones

Benjamin Jones is the former Campaign Manager for Kiran Sreepada, candidate for the United States House of Representatives in Tennessee’s 7th District. Ben worked to manage the campaign’s financial, field, communications, and political plan to have a record turnout for Democrats in the 7th District. Ben was previously employed as the Campaign Manager with Justin Kanew, the candidate for the same district in 2018, laying the groundwork for future runs in rural and suburban Tennessee. Benjamin previously worked as a Campaign Manager on several Nashville metro council races, was the Canvass Director in CD-3 with the Nevada Democratic Party, worked as a Ballot Access Coordinator for the O’Malley Presidential campaign in Alabama, served as deputy field director on a Nashville Mayoral race and a Mississippi District Attorney race, and started his professional career in North Carolina as a Field Organizer for Kay Hagan. Ben had internships with the Tennessee Democratic Party and Congressman Jim Cooper. Ben also has been volunteering in leadership positions with the Williamson County Democratic Party and the Williamson County Young Democrats. Ben graduated from Auburn University in 2014 with a BA in Political Science & Spanish, with most of his free time there volunteering with the Auburn College Democrats and the Alabama Democratic Party at the 2012 Democratic National Convention. Ben attends Rolling Hills Community Church in Franklin. Benjamin’s passions are engaging the local community to become more engaged with their local politics. When he is not politicking, Ben enjoys watching his beloved Auburn Tigers and Tennessee Titans football. Ben also enjoys running, writing stories, traveling, and restoring his parents old house in Columbia, Tennessee.
