Bernard Oliver is an entrepreneur, broadcast journalist, and champion amateur boxer. Bernard began boxing in high school as a way to improve his hand-eye coordination for football and to learn self-defense. His boxing cross-training quickly blossomed into a love for the sweet science of the sport. He went on to lose 50lbs and drop to heavyweight. In 2018, he added his second state Golden Gloves Championship, his first regional Golden Gloves championship and his first Golden Gloves national berth all at heavyweight. 2018 also brought a USA ranking of number seven. 2019 and 2020 subsequently brought him two more state Golden Gloves championships. 2020 also saw Bernard found his very own multimedia company, NerdAthlete LLC., that specializes in bringing ideas to reality through all aspects of infographic design, videography and multimedia production.
