Brad Weekes
Senior Associate, Kivvit
Brad Weekes is a Senior Associate at Kivvit, a public affairs firm, where he specializes in strategic communications, earned media, and in-depth messaging across multiple sectors, including criminal justice reform, non-profit, labor and government. Previously, Brad was a member of Coro Fellowship New York, a selective, experiential nine-month leadership training program in public affairs designed for young professionals interested in making civic change. During his time at Coro, he worked for New York City Department of Parks and Recreation, Worker’s Justice Project, Greater New York Hospital Association, The Hudson Companies and Benenson Strategy Group. Outside of work, Brad is a mentor at the TEAK Fellowship, a non-profit that supports gifted, low income students as they apply to top tier high schools and colleges nationwide, where he is also an alum. Brad is a member of Congressman Hakeem Jefferies’ Young Professional Committee. Finally, he is an alum of Brown University, graduating with a B.A in Political Science and Honors History. Brad is a proud native of East New York, Brooklyn and was raised by immigrant, Caribbean parents. He is also an avid concert goer, cinephile, aspiring marathon runner, and loyal, but consistently disappointed Knicks fan.
