Regional Organizing Director, Florida Democratic Party
Conner Jure is an organizer and a native of St. Petersburg, Florida. He is currently a Regional Organizing Director for the Florida Democratic Party in Pinellas County. He is a part of the team responsible for this crucial bellwether county voting blue in the 2020 general election. Conner found his calling in organizing during the 2018 midterm elections, when he became a Field Organizer for the Florida Democratic Party in St. Petersburg, Florida. He led volunteer efforts in the southern part of Pinellas County, which flipped blue and is consistently recognized as one of the most influential bellwether counties in the state and in the country. He then went to New Hampshire to become a Field Organizer for Senator Cory Booker’s 2020 Presidential Campaign. While in New Hampshire, he also took on the role of the Statewide Distributed Organizing Lead for the campaign. After Senator Cory Booker’s 2020 Presidential Campaign, Conner came back home to become a Regional Organizing Director with the Florida Democratic Party. With a pandemic forcing all campaign efforts to go digital and record turnout in a historic election, he helped flipped Pinellas County - one of four counties in Florida that voted blue in 2008 and 2012 and red in 2016 - back to blue in the 2020 general election by just over 1,000 votes. In his sparse amount of free time, Conner likes to workout and teach fitness classes, read, play cello, and embark on road trips.
