EOF Student Communications & Leadership Development Specialist, Brookdale Community College
Danielle M. Jones is the Student Communications & Leadership Development Specialist for the Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) program at Brookdale Community College. In her current role, she oversees the program’s outreach and communications, plus serves as Club Advisor to both the EOF Student Alliance (EOFSA) and the Delta Alpha Chapter of Chi Alpha Epsilon National Honor Society. Additionally, she serves as both the Community Colleges Sector Representative - Central/South Region and Governmental Relations Committee Chair for the EOF Professional Association of New Jersey (EOFPANJ). Her academic accomplishments led her to becoming a life member of four national honor societies. Danielle previously served as an intern for Senator Robert Menendez (D-NJ), New Jersey’s Independent Colleges, and NJ Legislative District #11 for Assembly Members Eric Houghtaling and Joann Downey. In Fall 2019, she served as a Graduate Fellow for the Office of the Secretary of Higher Education. Her diverse work history, internship experience, community service, and academic training led her to declare her candidacy for Borough Council in her hometown of Eatontown, NJ, in May 2020. She & her running mate successfully defeated their Democratic challengers in the 2020 NJ Primary Election and are currently campaigning for the 2020 general election in November. Danielle also serves as a ministry coordinator at Hope Cathedral (Jackson, NJ), and is a proud member of the Continental Societies, Inc. – North Jersey Shore Chapter. Danielle earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a minor in Sociology, from Cabrini University in 2013. She currently attends Seton Hall University, pursuing a Master’s in Public Administration, with a concentration in Nonprofit Management. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, listening to podcasts & music, makeup, dancing, following sports, and spending time with her friends and family.
