Elise Greaves began her journey with NLC Vermont as part of the inaugural cohort in 2019, and is now serving as co-director. She has spent the past several years engaged in work to forward economic and gender justice in Vermont. As a community organizer, Elise worked on campaigns to increase the minimum wage, establish paid family medical leave insurance for all Vermonters, and with progressive candidates for office. Currently, she works with Vermont Works for Women to coordinate a pre-apprenticeship program to launch women directly into apprenticeships and jobs in the construction trades.
