Eve Dolkart has dedicated her career to improving the health, economic well being, and social inclusion for some of the most vulnerable populations in New England and Latin America. She began her career working with the UMass Medical School SNAP Reimbursement Projects on nutrition education, employment and training, and outreach. In 2014, Eve moved to Honduras to work in microfinance, small business development, and preventive women's health. She frequently visited Guatemala during that time, then moved there in 2016 to combat malnutrition/food insecurity via biofortified crops. Upon moving to Vermont in 2017, Eve continued to work in international food security, then transitioned to the public sector when she joined the Department of Children and Families' Economic Services Division in the fall of 2018. Eve lives in downtown BTV with her husband and enjoys outdoor hiking/climbing adventures, design, languages, and peanut butter.
