George Shardlow serves as Associate Director of State Government Relations at Cargill. Outside of work, he is actively involved in Minnesota politics. In 2018, he managed a state house campaign that helped flip the Minnesota House of Representatives. George holds a Master's of Public Policy from the Humphrey School at the University of Minnesota and an undergraduate degree from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. He is passionate about intersectional disability justice, relearning history in ways that center marginalized voices and teaching people how their government works. His dream job is writing a series of Midwestern cookbooks, entitled "Bacon and Cheddar Cheese: An introduction to salads."
