Giovan Shepard is a political organizer, analyst, and former teacher. Giovan has had experience working in three battleground states (Michigan, New Hampshire and Maine) with numerous organizations and campaigns committed to voter outreach, and understanding the important issues to local communities. Before working in politics, Giovan was a student at University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of law, where he specialized in learning Health Law and Policy, and participated in the ACLU Immigration Law Clinic. Immediately after graduating from Franklin & Marshall College with a degree in Global Security and Intelligence Studies, Giovan worked as a middle school science teacher, at Brownsville Middle School in Miami, FL. It is these experiences, both professionally and academically, that drive him to find a way to uplift the communities most in need, and find a way to connect them to the resources that they need, or contribute to building a new connection to get it done.
