Jerome Wilson, Jr. is a law student at the UALR, William H. Bowen School of Law with a projected graduation date of December 2020. During his tenure as a law student, Jerome clerked at the Pulaski County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, filing citizen complaints for misdemeanor offenses. He also worked with the Deputy Prosecuting Attorney assigned to Pulaski County District Court assisting with the discovery process and the arrangement of plea and arraignments. During the Fall 2020, Jerome worked as an extern with the Little Rock City Attorney’s Office providing assistance with legal research and the pretrial process. Jerome is a member of the Arkansas Journal of Social Change and Public Service, which highlights issues of policy, public interest, academia, and the law. Jerome recently graduated from the Clinton School of Public Service in August 2020. During his time there, Jerome worked with the nonprofits Literacy Action of Central Arkansas, and African Prisons Project. Prior to his graduate studies, Jerome served nine years in the United States Marine Corps reaching the rank of Staff Sergeant before his honorable discharge. During his enlistment, Jerome worked as a KC-130 Crew Chief, Powerplants Mechanic, and Powerplants Instructor. Jerome is married to Donnalie and they have two wonderful children, Jael and Juniper. In his free time, Jerome likes to read, write, hike, fish, and watch sports. He is an avid fan of the 2X Super Bowl Champion Baltimore Ravens. Jerome is a proud and active member of the Mu Beta Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc.
