Senior Philanthropy Advisor, Planned Parenthood of Tennessee and North Mississippi
Jessica McDuffie-Massey is the Senior Philanthropy Advisor for Planned Parenthood of Tennessee and North Mississippi, where she leads the mid and major level gifts programs. Jessica graduated Nashville School of Law in 2010 and after passing the Tennessee bar, practiced bankruptcy law for eight years. Although she has always considered herself a staunch feminist, it was not until the 2016 elections that she became actively involved in political and advocacy work. She embarked upon a major career shift and entered the nonprofit world in 2018. Before Planned Parenthood, she worked for Community Shares of Tennessee as Middle Tennessee Director. Jessica currently sits on the Tennessee political action committee Women for Tennessee’s Future Executive Committee as Recording Officer and was previously WTF’s Young Leaders’ Council Chair. She serves on Advocates for Women and Kids’ Equality (AWAKE) Advocacy Committee advancing local and state policy reform to improve the lives of women and children in Tennessee. Finally, she serves as Chair of the historic Hillsboro-West End Neighborhood Board in Nashville. Jessica has been married to her husband for 18 years. They have two daughters, ages eight and five, and one elderly dachshund named Nola. Jessica and her husband love to travel and look forward to a fun adventure for their 20th anniversary. During her infrequent down time, you can find Jessica on her porch with a cup of coffee and a book.
