Financial Accountant, Montana State University
Julie Tripp is a Financial Accountant for Montana State University. She is also a recent graduate of Montana State University, where she received Bacehlor of Science degrees in Economics and Business Finance and a minor in Accounting. During her time at university, she was heavily involved with her campus community. Some of her roles included working as Business Manager for the student government, volunteering as an ambassador for the Diversity & Inclusion Student Commons, and serving as a leader of MSU’s Queer-Straight Alliance for 2 years. Post-graduation, Julie accepted a job as a Financial Accountant with MSU’s central office in order to start her career strong and remain a part of the MSU family for a bit longer. Julie is also currently volunteering as a mentor with MSU’s All-Inclusive Mentoring program, where she is paired with student(s) with similar backgrounds or identities in order to help them become more secure in their identities as well as provide social, emotional, and academic support. In the future, Julie plans to pursue her Master of Business Administration and work either in entertainment business or the non-profit sector. Julie deeply values social justice, diversity and inclusion, and racial equity. She works to promote these values in all aspects of her life—academic, professional, and personal.
