Karein Hooks

Karein Hooks is a native of North Little Rock, Arkansas and is a Litigation Assistant at Anderson Murphy & Hopkins. She attended University of Arkansas, Little Rock where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor of Arts in World Languages with an emphasis in Spanish. Karein earned a membership into Alpha Phi Sigma National Criminal Justice Honor Society as well. She also received several scholarships such as Arkansas Academic Challenge Scholarship, Chancellor’s Leadership Corps Scholarship, and Student Support Services Scholarship. Additionally, Karein is planning to pursue a career in Law in the near future. She plans to attend law school and become an attorney. She has a passion for Criminal Defense work, but Karein aspires to become a United States Attorney. Karein is also very involved within her community. She created a mental health discussion forum, “Let’s Talk About Stress” where she has held multiple workshops and live Zoom conferences discussing mental health awareness. Karein has volunteered with the Salvation Army and Make-A-Wish Foundation. Karein is an active member of Grace Temple Baptist Church where serves on the Greeter Ministry, Hospitality Ministry, and Young Adult Ministry. Further, Karein is an active member of the Chi Eta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Overall, Karein is ambitious, hard-working, and outgoing. She enjoys networking and growing her wealth of knowledge. Most importantly, Karein enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Karein is very grateful for her many achievements in life but knows she has so much more she wants to do. Karein knows with God, it’s all possible!
