Development & Data Associate, Equality Ohio
Kelley Fox is currently a Masters of Practical Theology and Masters of Social Justice candidate at the Methodist Theological School in Ohio, with a specialization in Queer Feminist and Womanist Studies. She received her B.A. in Literature and in Creative Writing from Ohio Northern University and has poetry publications in a variety of literary magazines. She also has a podcast and a blog focused on gender called de/masc/ed and detoxfeminist, respectively. Kelley is committed to liberation for all people and hopes to end the pressure to conform to rigid expectations of society. She believes that a lot of that ridicule and persecution comes from rigid gender roles and stereotypes that society enforces. An activist with multiple marginalized identities, she seeks to lift up all people through love, writing, spirituality, and service. With her love of learning others' stories, Kelley is committed to building coalitions across assumed boundaries. Her cats, Moses and Florence, keep her company — as well as her husband Jordan.
