Kelsey DeMerlis
Chapter Co-Director Elect, NLC Philadelphia

Currently at Philadelphia Youth Network (PYN), Kelsey cultivates local and national partnerships focused on progressing workforce solutions through expanding the business community’s talent pipeline and addressing inequities. She is passionate about working with businesses to design community opportunities ultimately creating equitable access to education and career pathways.

Kelsey represents Landsdale with pride and will be the first to tell you that Lansdale is a district that supports NLC alum Liz Hanbidge and is home to NYTimes acclaimed best coffee, Backyard Beans. Kelsey has a Bachelors in Psychology from Penn State University, completed the Executive Program in Social Impact Strategy at Penn’s Center for Social Impact, and Fundraising Co-Chair for the Philadelphia Chapter of the New Leaders Council Board. In 2019, she was named as a Keeper by Leadership Philadelphia.
