Communications Manager, Harris County Precinct One
Leticia Rojas is a political communications strategist who is passionate about building support for progressive policy goals. She currently serves as part of the Communications Team at Harris County Precinct One, under Commissioner Rodney Ellis. As part of this team, she works with the policy team to develop content and messaging around critical policy issues. Prior to joining Harris County Precinct One, she worked as part of the national press team with Beto for America, and led communications for the Cristina for Texas statewide senate primary. During the final stretch of the 2020 election, Leticia worked with Texas Right to Vote, a rapid response network developing voting rights messaging for 300+ elected officials, election administrators, civic organizations across the state. Leticia holds a Master of Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, where she led the publication of the HKS Journal of Hispanic Policy and the Latinx Caucus. Leticia also holds a bachelor's degree from Harvard University, which she received in 2014. Leticia is the proud daughter of immigrants from Central Mexico. She is fluent in Spanish and is committed to immigrant justice, gender justice, and racial justice. In her free time, Leticia enjoys reading, baking, and walking her 7-year-old lab mix Oso.
