Marion Jones, MPA currently works in Training Operations and Workforce Development Eversource Energy . For over 10 years, Marion has worked with clients across the world delivering training in key organizational performance areas. An experienced talent and workforce development visionary, Marion draws in on individual talent at every level, coaching others to peak performance. Her reach spans across the U.S., Canada, and Australia. Marion heads the Electric Power Utility Technology (EPUT) program at Eversource Energy, a STEM-based pipeline to employment initiative. In this role, Marion collaborates with organizational partners and labor leadership to support workforce planning and talent development for entry-level utility roles. To support talent development efforts across the enterprise, Marion co-leads the Women’s Business Resource Group, a corporate diversity and inclusion initiative focused on helping women reach their full potential at Eversource Energy. As a member of the Diversity & Inclusion Council, she supports and leads organizational efforts to foster a more diverse and inclusive culture. Marion is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, a private non-profit organization whose purpose is to provide assistance and support through established programs in local communities throughout the world. She is a 2020 alum of The Partnership, Inc., a Boston-based non-profit that works with organizations in all sectors to build racially and ethnically diverse leadership pipelines. Marion also serves as an EOC (Executives on Campus) Mentor at her alma mater, Baruch College, NYC. Marion earned a bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of Southern MS, a Master of Public Administration from Baruch College – City University of New York, and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the Boston University’s Questrom School of Business. She is currently writing a book on the power of purpose, a guide to help others navigate their pathway forward. She teaches a Business Communication course at Bunker Hill Community College and is a proud aunt.
