Matthew Taudien

Matthew Taudien is a congressional intern for the office of Congressman Ted Deutch (FL-22). He recently served as the regional field director for the Michael Bloomberg campaign and was the field director for two city commission campaigns in Lake Worth Beach, Florida. Prior to that, he served as a field organizer in Florida for the 2018 Florida Democratic coordinated campaign and the Phillip Levine for Governor Campaign. His political campaign volunteer experience prior dates back to 2012 when he volunteered for the Obama Campaign and then later for the Hillary Clinton campaign. While in college, he served as the President of the Florida Atlantic University College Democrats. He strongly believes in protecting our environment and taking decisive action to combat climate change to ensure that our world is a happy, healthy, and safe place to live for generations to come. Matt was born and raised in Florida and has lived in Palm Beach County for 21 years. Matt is happily married to Alexandra. They met online in 2013 and got married in 2020. They live in Palm Beach County. Matt lists those who have inspired him as President Barack Obama, Alexander Hamilton, President Franklin D. Roosevelt, and Martin Luther King Jr. His favorite quote is, "have a big heart and a short memory."
