Naomi A.W. Carter
Communications Co-Chair, NLC Philadelphia

In this role, Naomi supports the gifts & business entertainment compliance, regulatory disclosure, and conflict of interest processes. She also supports the COMPAC Matching Gift and political contribution disbursement activities.

Prior to joining the Political Affairs team, Naomi worked in Comcast Global Audit (CGA) where she executed internal audits that addressed regulatory risk and compliance concerns as well as worked to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes for Corporate and Cable functions. Naomi’s areas of focus included business travel & entertainment and regulatory compliance, as well as SOX (Sarbanes Oxley) internal control review.

Naomi is active in the Philadelphia community where she serves as the President of NAMIC Philadelphia (National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications) where she aims to educate, advocate, and empower for multi-ethnic diversity in the communications industry. She also serves as Board Communications Chair for the New Leaders Council Philadelphia chapter. Lastly, Naomi is the National Operations Liaison for Comcast’s Black Employee Network.

Naomi graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Management Information Systems. She currently resides in Philadelphia with her husband, William Carter IV, and their two daughters.
