Contracts Officer, State of Montana
Nolan Harris was born and raised in the Treasure State, growing up in the Mission Valley, attending the University of Montana-Western, and then moving to Helena, MT. Throughout his life Nolan has been linked to progressive causes like public education, student inclusion, and public service. Now, Nolan believes climate change and election reforms are some of the most pressing issues of our time to address the inequities in our world. Nolan’s experience in Montana’s political world is limited but includes valuable experiences to build on. Starting in college Nolan volunteered for small campaigns, managed a Helena-area campaign for a state house seat, and interned for the Governor’s Office during the 2015 session. Nolan is looking forward to future opportunities where he can learn how to build on his experiences, challenge and refine his beliefs to become a more effective leader, and help lead Montana moving forward. He hopes to grow not only in a professional sense, but also as a person. In his free time, Nolan officiates youth sports, fishes the rivers surrounding Helena, and is bossed around by his toddler daughter.
