Project Manager, Data Recognition Corporation
Nora Rowaily was born in Saudi Arabia, where she grew up multi-national and bilingual - this international upbringing made her passionate about upholding an expanded, global perspective when examining issues and proposing solutions. Nora is currently a project manager for Data Recognition Corporation, where she has over 12 years of experience in large-scale educational assessment administration. A graduate of The Ohio State University, Nora majored in International Studies with a specialization in International Relations and Diplomacy. She holds minors in Spanish and German, and had the opportunity to study German language and literature, international politics, and linguistics at Rheinische Friedrich Wilhelms Universitat in Bonn, Germany. While in Bonn post-graduation, she served as a research associate at the Center for European Integration Studies, where she researched, wrote, and translated articles on regional integration, translated and proofread scholarly articles for publication, and helped to organize the Summer Academy in Comparative Regional Integration. In her free time, Nora enjoys travel, sports, making whimsical art, and participating in trivia competitions, which culminated in her lifelong dream of winning on Jeopardy! in 2017.
