Olivia Smith-Hammond is a disability rights advocate, serving the community of Burlington, Vermont by sharing her knowledge and expertise on state agency services and access to healthcare and higher education as a disabled person. She currently serves on the board of directors with Vermont Family Network and Vermont Legal Aid/Legal Services Vermont, where she works to advocate for Vermonter’s with disabilities and chronic health needs. Olivia also serves on the Governor appointed State Rehabilitation Council as a member of the Policy and Procedures Committee, where she helps ensure Vermonters can access quality and compassionate support from State agencies. Olivia is a graduate of the Community College of Vermont with a degree in Human Service. In her free time, Olivia enjoys hiking, rock climbing and spending time with friends.
