US Director of Business Development, Generation USA
Roshni Chengappa is the US Director of Business Development at Generation USA, a global workforce development non-profit focused on connecting underemployed and unemployed people to high growth careers around the world. Her previous work at Generation includes launching and managing a hospitality-focused training / placement program serving at-risk youth in South Atlanta and managing corporate partner relationships in DC, Dallas, and Baltimore. Roshni began her career working at the World Health Organization analyzing pharmaceutical data around HIV/AIDs treatments. After working at the WHO, Roshni spent 5 years at PwC and other consultancies focusing on public sector clients, including serving the military on Traumatic Brain Injury and Psychological health conditions in Washington, DC and Chicago. Roshni also serves on the board of 3 Atlanta-area nonprofits: Connections School of Atlanta, a high school for neurodiverse students, Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Atlanta, spearheading the inaugural 30 under 30 Fellowship program, and AB67 Young Leaders of the BeltLine, helping the Empower committee. She currently spends her free time with her husband, Neil, and her daughter, Leela, either exploring different nature preservations, baking, or watching Tarheel basketball during the winter months. Roshni is also currently attempting to write a children’s book about her Indian ancestral roots to educate the next generation of her community. Roshni has a BS degree from University of North Carolina and an MPH in Epidemiology from Drexel University.
