Infrastructure Planner, Green River Area Development District
Skyler Stewart currently serves as the Infrastructure Planner for the Green River Area Development District (GRADD), where she solicits funding opportunities for water and sewer utilities in GRADD's seven county region. She has previously been in the roles of Public Administration Specialist and Business Liaison for GRADD where she began her professional career in 2016. Before starting full-time at the GRADD office, Skyler interned for the Local Government Committee at the Kentucky Legislative Research Commission. Skyler currently resides in her hometown of Owensboro, KY where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Kentucky Wesleyan College. During her undergraduate career, Skyler was a member of the Kentucky Wesleyan College Cheerleading Team and Kappa Delta Sorority. In May of 2020, Skyler graduated from Western Kentucky University's Masters of Public Administration program and also earned a certification in Local Government Administration. Outside of work, Skyler serves on the Owensboro Metropolitan Planning Commission and is the Assistant Cheerleading Coach at Owensboro High School. She spends her downtime watching Will Ferrel movies with her fiance Andy and their lovable dog Winnie.
