Tom Little is a young professional with a focus on politics and public policy. He is the Chief of Staff to Assembly Members Eric Houghtaling and Joann Downey of New Jersey's 11th Legislative District, which includes Asbury Park, Freehold and other parts of Monmouth County. Prior to becoming their Chief of Staff in 2019, he served as their Legislative and Policy Director.

Before relocating to Monmouth County, he was a Legislative Aide to Assemblyman Vince Mazzeo of New Jersey’s 2nd Legislative District, which includes Atlantic City and parts of Atlantic County. Tom was also a Field Representative for the successful 2013 re-election campaign of the late State Senator Jim Whelan, and the successful campaign of first-time candidate Vince Mazzeo. Tom resumed his role as a Field Representative for Assemblyman Mazzeo's re-election campaign in 2015.

Tom acquired a master’s degree in Public Policy from the Rutgers Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy in 2013. He obtained a bachelor's degree in political science from The College of New Jersey in 2011, and he graduated from the Lewis School of Princeton in 2007. He is currently a resident of Long Branch, New Jersey, and was recently appointed to the City's Zoning Board of Adjustment.
